OK, so I'm all for NAFTA, CAFTA, whatever. Better jobs offered in our neighboring countries can mean less immigration problems here - but I digress.
So, a couple of months ago our company decided to start buying IBM workstations. As you know, IBM sold their PC business and name to Chinese manufacturer Lenovo. I was perusing one of the workstations we received and looked at the label. To my surprise, I see that the computer was "Made in Mexico".
That's hilarious - Big Blue, the epitomy of an American corporation, sells off a business unit to a Chinese company who builds the computers in Mexico!!
