John Roberts was confirmed today as The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. All said, it was a fairly bipartisan confirmation - 78 for and 22 against.
All Republicans voted FOR the confirmation along with the single Independent.
Exactly 1/2 of the Democrates voted FOR with the other half voting NO.
Looking through the list of NOs, I was not surprised. It's comprised of the more left-leaning crowd that is always against anything that President Bush recommends!
