David Lee Roth goes and gets some great bluegrass talent and covers old Van Halen songs on an album titled Strummin' With The Devil!! Check out Studio 330 at CMT and you can see performances of Dance The Night Away, Jamie's Cryin', Jump, and Panama. Pretty good stuff actually.
You can go to itunes and download a version of Eruption played entirely on the banjo! Good stuff!
